The April 2011 Slips Topic Inspection Pack has been released by the HSE and is freely available for download here. The pack covers all aspects of assessing and managing slip and trip risks including legal requirements and enforcement guidelines.
Whilst aimed at inspectors, the pack provides useful information on slips and trips that anyone managing health and safety may find useful.
The pack provides contact details for relevant contacts at the Health and Safety Laboratory who can provide an expert in depth assessment of the slip risk of surfaces.
